Analyzing My Text's Cultural Setting

Below, I will be answering the questions given to me in the screenshot above. I will be analyzing the article I have chosen's cultural setting.

What values, ideas, norms, beliefs, even laws of the culture play an important role in the text?

The article is placed in an American business setting. Thus, all values, ideas, norms, beliefs, and laws are all based on American ideals. The culture of American business emphasizes hard work, connections, a positive attitude and luck will allow you to get and maintain a job. Recently, many jobs have left America and have left americans jobless. In the article, the author emphasizes how jobs for the Snapple Corporation have started to flow back to the United States, returning all all cultural values.

Does the text address these cultural vales (etc.) directly or indirectly?

The piece address the cultural values indirectly. This is played off by how the article discusses the return of jobs to america. It is indirectly noted about how hard working Americans are now starting to get the jobs they worked for back.

What is the relationship of the text to the values, beliefs, etc? Is it critical of these aspects of the culture? Is it Supportive? Does it seek to modify these aspects of the culture in a certain way?

The relationship between all cultural values and the subject of the text is a direct relationship. It is because of the value and beliefs of Americans that many fought to bring the jobs back to the United States. It supports itself in every way. As well, the text does not seem to try and modify the aspects of the culture in any way.
